And, let's be honest, while Matt has done a wonderful job in his new role, there is no way that he'd be giving me homemade Oreos... unless I baked them, and he physically brought them to me. :)
Anyway, this cookie totally embodies everything I love and preach about baking and cooking in your own home. It's a simple take on super classic flavors -- chocolate cookies, buttercream filling -- that will please absolutely everyone. Nothing questionable about these sweet treats that'll have your friends asking, "Um, what's in that?" It's totally obvious and, because of that, they'll obviously disappear.
