Too early for popsicles?

It may be a dreary day in the 50s here, but it's never too early for popsicles!  Especially these...

[via here]

Seeing these has me counting the days (5 to be exact) until I depart on a little spring adventure -- I'm going to Savannah, Georgia!  We're still gathering information on what to see and where to eat, so I ask, if you've been to Savannah, what do you recommend as a must-see/do?  Thanks! :)

  1. Oh my gosh - hubby and I LOVE Savannah. We spent the first part of our honeymoon there. I blogged all about it back in May 2010, the posts are still there if you want to read. We enjoyed a late afternoon meal at Vic's on the River. A carraige ride. Walking/shopping on River Street. Drinks on the blacony of Vu at the Hyatt (I think Hyatt). Moon River Brewing for a casual dinner. Gelato at City Market area, which was near our terrific hotel, Avia. Ice Cream at Leopolds. Afternoon tea at Savannah Tea Room. And just walking around and through all the squares and to Forsyth Park. I can't wait to hear how your trip is/what you do/if you love Savannah as much as we do!

  2. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Adding each to the list :) Any word on whether the Lady & Sons (Paula Deen's restaurant) is worth the hype?

  3. We didn't try Lady & Sons because we had heard (read) some so-so things about it at sites like urbanspoon. It seemed to always be crowded, and it seemed to be buffet because we could see the buffet tables through the windows, and we're not big buffet people. But we walked by a lot because it was near our hotel. So I'm not sure how it really is!

  4. I posted a link to the mustard roasted potatoes in the comments to that post - we loosely follow a recipe from epicurious. http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/Mustard-Roasted-Potatoes-240694
